Risk assessments

Before each day begins, the risk assessment register is checked to ensure all equipment and facilities are safe within the home and Day Care.

We ensure your dog is exercised in a safe and secure area with supervision at all times. The safety and well being of your pooch is paramount to us!

Dogs who attend Pooches Retreat MUST be well socialised and comfortable in the environment.

Equipment and  facilities

Pooches Retreat offer a wide range of physical and stimulating activities for your pooch such as; splash pools, sand pit, tyre games, agility course. Here at Pooches Retreat we believe as well physical activity, rest is just as important for your dog, to ensure they are well rested and happy.

Induction process

Before we accept dogs we invite them for an induction, trial session. This gives them the opportunity to explore the environment and surroundings and to meet their doggy friends. We only accept friendly and sociable dogs due to health and safety.

Routines

Daily routines are encouraged during our care. This ensures your Pooch is able to adapt and adjust to their new surroundings. Young puppies in particular require balanced exercise and rest.

At Pooches Retreat we carry out a high level of service to ensure your dog is in the best care. We are passionate about what we do and will always take time to understand the dogs and their owners individual needs.

To make your dogs visit as special as possible we like to celebrate their birthdays and special occasions such as Easter, Halloween and Christmas
